The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation will honor David Krieger at the 2019 Evening for Peace, which will take place on October 20, 2019. For tickets and sponsorship information, click here or on the image below.
David co-founded the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation in 1982 and has led the organization as its President for nearly four decades. He has dedicated his life’s work to ending the nuclear age and has been a mentor, a respected colleague, and an inspiration to countless people across the globe.
We are pleased that Daniel Ellsberg, NAPF Distinguished Fellow and author of the book Doomsday Machine, will be the guest speaker and will present the Distinguished Peace Leadership Award to David. Ellsberg is a former national security advisor who released the Pentagon Papers in 1971. Ellsberg also delivered the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation’s 2012 Frank K. Kelly Lecture on Humanity’s Future. In 2006, Ellsberg received the Right Livelihood Award, known as the “Alternative Nobel Prize,” “for putting peace and truth first, at considerable personal risk, and dedicating his life to inspiring others to follow his example.”
