About Kenneth Chiu

Kenneth Chiu is the Communications and Media Coordinator for the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation and a Youth Activist for nuclear disarmament. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Williams College, with a concentration in comparative politics. Since joining NAPF, Kenneth has supported and led communications initiatives amplifying youth, frontline, and Global South voices in disarmament spaces. He helped launch Reverse the Trend: Save Our People, Save Our Planet, an intergenerational project focused on climate and nuclear justice. Kenneth has participated in major international forums, including the First, Second, and Third Meetings of States Parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW), and the 2024 and 2025 Preparatory Committees for the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). At the 10th NPT Review Conference, he served as a panelist for the side event “Nuclear Disarmament and Our Sustainable Future,” co-organized by the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Prefectures. Through his work, Kenneth has collaborated with civil society coalitions, engaged UN diplomats, and contributed to public-facing campaigns promoting disarmament, human security, and international law.
