We are pleased to announce a new project of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, the Nuclear Insanity Substack. NAPF was founded in 1982 by two writers and has a longstanding history of spreading peace through the written word. From the 20 year Waging Peace essay project, to the Barbara Mandigo Peace Poetry contest, and our latest symposium series, Choose Hope, based on a novel archiving the conversations between our founder, David Kreiger, and the former president of SGI, Daisaku Ikeda. We remain dedicated to building a better world through knowledge and greater understanding.

Over the past month, we’ve been building the Nuclear Insanity Substack: a space for spreading this knowledge by experts in the nuclear field. The substack features writing from NAPF affiliates and others in the disarmament movement on nuclear issues in policy, history, and culture. We have already created quite an archive by our contributors, including Ivana Nikolić Hughes, Ph. D., Professor Peter Kuznick, Scott Fina, Ph. D., Alice Slater, Timmon Wallis, Ph. D., Christian Ciobanu, Dr. Carlos Umaña and more expert voices. We hope for this to become a definitive collection of ideas on the problems of and solutions for the nuclear age, and a place for building community in the face of existential threats.

Please subscribe to the Substack to receive notifications of the latest articles, interviews, and more. And if you’re someone who contributes to these topics, please let us know so we can add your voice to Nuclear Insanity.
