Is the EU Sleepwalking Toward Nuclear War? | Lecture and Discussion

On May 26th, Dr. Ivana Nikolić Hughes joined a lecture and discussion in Berlin hosted by Michael von der Schulenburg, member of the European Parliament. The event, “Is the EU Sleepwalking Toward Nuclear War?”, brought together academics and elected officials to discuss the dangers of nuclear weapons and war in Europe. Speakers highlighted the real risks in the current state of European and German affairs and the need for policy changes to help guide the country and the continent away from nuclear danger.

In addition to Dr. Hughes, speakers included Professor Theodore Postol from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Sevim Dagdelen, author, politician, and a member of the German Paliament (2005-2025).
