Here I am sharing a July 9, 2026 article I published in “Current Affairs” that concerns the testing of (unarmed) ICBMs undertaken by Vandenberg Space Force Base. Numerous protestors have challenged these tests (and nuclear weaponry in general) at the base, over decades. Many of us have been arrested doing so, some of whom have suffered imprisonment seeking nuclear disarmament.
