Last week, our Director of Policy and Advocacy, Christian Ciobanu, joined Rooj Ali, a member of our youth initiative, Reverse the Trend Canada, at the “Archives as Witness” conference, commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Peace Resource Center at Wilmington College.
They led a panel focused on engaging youth, and especially Generation Z, in understanding the history and enduring legacy of the atomic bombings and nuclear weapons testing. Their discussion highlighted innovative approaches to education and advocacy, ensuring that the lessons of the past continue to inform a more peaceful future.
