The mission of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation is “to educate and train people of all ages and backgrounds to solve the most dangerous technological, social, and psychological issues of our time, and to survive and thrive in the 21st century.” We offer many different programs that all contribute toward the fulfillment of our mission.

Advocacy

The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation places a strong focus on collective action and advocacy. We mobilize people and engage leaders across the globe to achieve our goals.

Public Events

NAPF organizes many public events in Santa Barbara and other locations each year, including the Evening for Peace, the Frank K. Kelly Lecture on Humanity’s Future, Sadako Peace Day and more.

Contests

NAPF holds two contests each year: the Swackhamer Disarmament Video Contest and the Barbara Mandigo Kelly Peace Poetry Awards. Information on current contests, along with past winners, can be found at www.peacecontests.org.
