Paid Internships
The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation offers a limited number of paid summer internship positions at its Santa Barbara office. Interns must have a demonstrated interest in gaining hands-on experience working with a non-profit educational organization.
Join Our Team
Interns will join our dedicated team at our Santa Barbara headquarters to work on meaningful projects that advance our mission.
We are looking for highly-motivated and enthusiastic individuals who want to make a real and lasting difference in the world.
Internship Positions
Check back for internships beginning in the summer, 2022.
Time Commitment
We are flexible about whether this is a part-time or full-time (40 hours/week) position, however interns are expected to work for a minimum of 10 weeks. The internship period can be longer based on the successful applicant’s preference and NAPF’s needs.
Compensation
Summer interns are compensated at a rate of $15.00/hour during the 10-week internship. Academic credit may also be available. We are unable to provide housing for out-of-town interns, but can provide recommendations of affordable housing in the area.
Application
All applications must include the following:
- Two letters of recommendation, at least one from a teacher or professor (letters can be collected and sent by you, or sent directly by the authors);
- A letter of intent detailing your work experience, educational background, field of study, what you plan to pursue upon graduation, and the date you can begin the internship;
- A copy of your resume or Curriculum Vitae;
