Saint Barbara Parish and the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation invite you to a seminar with Paul K. Chappell: a West Point graduate, Iraq War veteran, and director of Peace Literacy at NAPF. Peace Literacy views peace as a skill set –one that should be taught in our schools with as much rigor as reading and math.
Peace Literacy gives us the tools to deepen our understanding of the human condition, including trauma and aggression, but also empathy, hope, belonging, purpose, and self-worth. It’s a practical approach to becoming our better selves.
