to think ahead for a moment and soberly question some popular
assumptions:
Is this really the project that we want to rally
the world around?
Is this really the best way to prevent future terrorism?
Do we really know where this path is going to take
us?
Is this really how we want to jump-start our ailing
economy?
Is this really how we want to fuel our SUVs?
Is this really a fitting tribute to the victims
of 9/11?
Is this really what will make us feel better?
Are these really the values we want to impart on
our children?
Is this really what we want to pledge allegiance
to when we pledge allegiance to the flag?
